Last night the 6th grade beginning band officially started on their instruments. The Mayflower Band partnered with the University of Central Arkansas Music Department to have several music education students come out and work with each instrument group. Everyone had a great time and learned so much!

Thursday, September 22, is a day of behavior rewards for our students at Mayflower Middle School. As an incentive, all students will have the opportunity to watch a movie and purchase snacks. The cost of snacks will range from 50 cents to $2 each. Students may bring money to purchase snacks. This day is also when students will be reviewing their Student Success Plans (SSP). Finally, the middle school book fair is open in the library through September 27 and will be open on parent/teacher conference day which is Monday, September 26.
