We are proud of our middle school, junior high, and high school choirs! They gave a great spring concert tonight under the direction of Mrs. Amber Satterwhite. Great job kids!
MMS has some extra tickets for the field trip tomorrow to the AR Travelers game. If you are a parent and would like to attend, please call the school to get your name on a list. You will pay Koch or Campbell tomorrow at the game. You will be responsible for providing your own transportation to and from the stadium. There is a clear bag policy. The $10 ticket includes admission, a hot dog, chips, and a drink. Please call 501-470-2111 to reserve a spot. Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis until we run out.
Everyone is invited to come enjoy the music of the MMS and MHS band and choir! The band concert is tonight (Monday) at 6 pm in the high school cafeteria. The choir concert is tomorrow night (Tuesday) at 6 pm at First Baptist Church.
5th and 6th Grade State ACT Aspire Summative Testing is next week, April 27 - 29, beginning first period each morning. Testing will end each day around 10:30AM.
Please get plenty of rest and eat a nutritious breakfast.

TOMORROW is the deadline for turning in field trip permission slips and money. The $10 covers admission to the Travelers game and lunch at the ballpark.
The MMS 80’s dance is tomorrow night from 6-8 pm! Admission is $5, and additional money will be needed if your student wants to purchase concessions, glow sticks, etc. we are looking forward to having a “rad” time!

Semi-Finals - Monday starting at 4:00
Finals - Tuesday starting at 4:00
State Tournament will now start on Thursday, March 3 and games will be played on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
The state Semifinals will be played on Monday, March 7 with split sessions starting at 1:00 and 5:30.

As part of our Kindness Day celebration tomorrow, we are partnering with MES and MHS to raise money for a local family who was involved in an accident earlier this week. Students may wear a hat for a $1 minimum donation. We are so thankful to be in a community that helps when someone is in need! We will also be having Snack Day, so money is needed if students wish to purchase items.
The Mayflower School District has lifted the mask mandate, so students and staff are no longer required to wear face coverings on campus or on buses.
MMS is so blessed to have Mrs. Jennifer Lee as our school guidance counselor! She is hard-working, dedicated, and consistently goes above and beyond to take care of our staff, students, and families. We are better because of her! Happy School Counselor Week! We love you Mrs. Lee!
Tomorrow is the deadline to turn in field trip money and permission slips for the skating trip! Sack lunches WILL BE PROVIDED by the school, but students are also welcome to bring their own lunch. Additional
money may be brought for concessions. Please have your child wear tall, thick socks to avoid blisters and dress in layers. Attendance will be taken as usual, so any student not attending the trip will attend school or be marked absent.
