We have had a BIG DAY at MMS! We are recognizing autism awareness month each Friday by encouraging students to wear blue!
Today was Snack Day, and we held a pep rally to get pumped up for the ACT Aspire! 6th and 7th grades won the spirit stick! Be sure to ask your student about our testing incentive field trip.
Additionally, we have got great work going on in classrooms! Check out Ms. Copeland's science students and their projects! They have been working hard on these all week! #mmsTHRIVE
Mayflower Middle School annuals have arrived. Students who ordered annuals may pick them up from Mrs. Green. We have a few extra annuals that may be purchased for $42 each.

MMS is blessed to have THE BEST paraprofessionals! Mrs. Chambliss and Mrs. Newlin both work with dyslexia, and Mrs. Fowler assists students in their classes. All 3 of these ladies do multiple things above and beyond their normal job responsibilities every day. MMS is better because of them!
Happy National School Librarian Day to Mrs. Pam Pipkins! In addition to being a wonderful librarian, Mrs. P also is a faithful school bus driver, and she also does a great deal of behind-the-scenes work for MAP and ACT Aspire testing. We are so thankful for all that she does and for her commitment to MMS!
3rd Nine-weeks Awards Assembly
We are excited to welcome students and staff back to campus tomorrow! Tomorrow is Snack Day, so students who wish to make purchases will need to bring cash. Item prices range from 50 cents to $2.00. We can't wait to see everyone!
What a way to start Spring Break with cupcakes and chilling with friends! The Middle School celebrated an amazing job by our students showing up and showing out on MAPs. All grade levels showed growth in both math and reading. We are proud of our Eagles.

Our math and literacy specialists, along side special education teachers, attended training to learn how to support the development of Inclusive Practices.
The NHS members are collecting can tabs for the Ronald McDonald House charity! The tabs can come from energy drinks, soup cans, or anything with a metallic tab! If you have tabs, please place them in a ziploc bag to help us for easier delivery!
Last year we provided 14 free nights for patients' parents at the RMH with our monetary donations! We will take our tabs and donations to Arkansas Children's Hospital and Ronald McDonald House at the end of March! We are excited to see our new 2022 heart plaque on the wall soon! We aim to get back up on the wall of fame for 2023!
Thanks in advance for your help! We hope this is our biggest year of donations to date!
